Shane Salter grew up in New York City without his parents in foster care. After twenty years as an= national advocate for children and families, he recognized the need to establish this to foster hope for youth by connecting them to caring adults willing to provide life enriching experiences.
We leverage your donations to support programs and youth initiatives designed to mentor youth transitioning out of foster care. We ask that you join our fostering hope movement with a contribution to sponsor one child who deserves the best chance at a bright future with the presence of a caring adult committed to his success. Through this effort, hope endures and the cycle of compassion and goodwill continues indefinitely.
Part of the proceeds from Emmy Award Recipient Shane Salter's Fostering Hope book are donated to the foundation. You can get your copy from the local book store, Amazon or Iuniverse.com
We are always looking for volunteers.
